Being the second largest city in Australia, Melbourne offers many sites and attractions to visitors. Melbourne is considered the capital of Australia’s culture, one of the reasons is that it is home to the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere, the Melbourne Museum. The museum has seven main galleries as well as a children’s museum, and an IMAX theater. The Melbourne Zoo is a great spot to see some of the native species of Australia, and also is a popular Jazz spot during the weekends of the summer months. For something a little more historical, travelers should visit the Parliament House of Victoria in City Centre, where they can take free tours of the first site of the Australian federal government.

Hannover is the capital of the German State of Lower Saxony. The city has over half a million inhabitants.

Hannover was founded in the early Middle Ages on the left bank of the river Leine as a small village at the crossroads of two trade routes, whose inhabitants live from fishing and transporting passengers across the River.

Germany are known for its “crazy” night life for decades, and Berlin is a real treasure trove of the best electronic clubs. The city that never sleeps! Known for its extreme hedonism, incredible views and parties that last for 72 hours without stopping. For young people of this city, but also for the thousands of young tourists.

Recently my family and I had a chance to take a cruise on Royal Caribbean International’s “Rhapsody of the Seas”. It is an impressive ship with towering walls of glass and an overall feeling of class.

We chose to sail to Australia and had a great time doing it. Our first consideration when choosing a cruiseline was the activities that would be available for our two children.

If you are going to be in Germany, make sure that you stop by Berlin and see what is left of the Berlin Wall. This famous wall divided the city in the wake of World War Two and played a central role in the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union.
