What To Visit In Germany

If you are going to be in Germany, make sure that you stop by Berlin and see what is left of the Berlin Wall. This famous wall divided the city in the wake of World War Two and played a central role in the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. It was torn down in 1989 and spelled a major turning point in international politics and relations. You can still see pieces of this wall; you can also see bricks left in the streets where the wall used to stand. Furthermore, there are many museums that deal with the wall and preserve the unique history that it has that can be found nowhere else in the world. As long as you are in Berlin, take some time after you see the wall to visit the museum there that is dedicated to the history and heritage of the Jewish people in the city.
